Down Broad Street, Just Past the St Magnus Cathedral…a little past the Royal Bank of Scotland you will find Victoria Street. Narrow, but wide enough for a car or passing van. This characteristic, vibrant and historical little street houses some fantastic little shops and cafes. At number 51 Between Bruces Stores and Sutherlands Pharmacy you can find Heidrun Cosmetics .. our new shop and now our main base in Orkney.
Although we will still be operating our Stromness shop from April Over the Summer period, 51 Victoria Street will be open all year round. It also has enough space to allow us to make our products on site, meaning that customers can also view the preparation of products in the shop.
We have tried to create something quite unique with the interior decor. Rustic Whiskey Barrels, Hessian, Rope, Blackboards are the make up for our Colourful Bath Bomb, Sugar Scrub and Salt Bar Display. In the corner (Soon to be named natures corner) we have an overhang of flowers .. currently this houses Liquid Soap and our bestselling Hand & Body Butter, the plans for this in the future is to create a corner dedicated to to the un-fragranced raw natural products beneficial for customers with sensitive skin conditions. At the bottom of the shop a feature wall with Damask Wallpaper, Sparkles and mirrored side units house our more elegant Bath Truffles, full of rich butters to leave your skin replenished and soft. To the right white shelving units are home to our Fragrance soaps, Skin Care Soaps and Shampoo Bars.. on top some fantastic smelling Soya Wax candles.
